Kaironic time is full of potential, such that it beckons us to participate in special moments more pregnant than others.
Kairos reveals to us that there are certain times when the order of things, the cosmos, the world-soul, is attempting to persuade we human souls to participate in the unfolding of events in a particular way, times when a certain mood descends as though from heaven to characterize earthly events.

We might even refer to the planetary archetypes as kairoi, as principles of timeliness, rulers of the different ways eternity puts on the dress of time.

Josephine Grundy (UK/France) is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher based in Barcelona.Since she was a child she has always been close to music and visual art, and in her butoh practice she explores different possible relationships between body, voice and sound, different materials, and physical matter in general.

Her initial academic training was in Human Sciences at University College London. Then she went on to study the Lecoq physical theatre method in Barcelona, as well as taking workshops and performing with several physical theatre companies. She also has extensive training in vocal technique and lends her voice to a wide range of musical projects and professional recordings.

She began to study butoh dance in 2004 and has been developing her own work ever since, collaborating with other artists and performers, and giving regular classes and workshops.
